Confidence. Courtesy. Character.
We introduce young students to the foundational skills of social awareness, respect, and kindness. Courses are fun, age-appropriate, and interactive.
Be Mannerly
In Charlotte School of Etiquette, we will learn—
Established social rules and expectations – such as the salad fork vs the dinner fork, but more importantly, we want our students to become more conscious of how they can be kind and show honor to others. With an emphasis on character education, we will focus on modern, relevant etiquette topics such as: how to greet and introduce yourself, how to graciously receive a gift, how to thoughtfully give a gift, the art of a handwritten note, how to welcome someone new and include someone into a conversation circle and how to make others feel special. We have structured classes for Elementary Aged students and a Middle School Cotillion program.
“My hope is our students leave our program confident in any social situation, strong in character, and prepared to extend kindness and respect everywhere they go. I want our students to be set apart by their inclusivity, gratitude, and the courteous way they interact with others now and as these children grow.”

charlotte school of etiquette
Our etiquette program for Kindergarten through 8th grade introduces young children to the building blocks of confidence, kindness, and social awareness in a warm, engaging, and age-appropriate way. Whether your child is just starting their school journey or already blossoming into a young leader, our courses guide them toward becoming thoughtful, respectful, and self-assured individuals.
Our Elementary Aged etiquette courses meet three Sundays a month, with each session lasting one hour. Alternatively, during the Summer we meet three days in one week. Multiple course options are offered throughout the year to fit your child’s stage in their etiquette journey.
Our Middle School Cotillion program meets once a month for 5 months between September and February each year.
We love welcoming students as young as 5 years old, watching them grow in poise and presence as they learn to treat others with honor, dignity, and respect.
